Good massage! Helps me feel relaxed and rest my sore muscles.

Been to this place a couple times now and it’s been great. The place is clean and relaxing. I’ve been dealing with a lot of back and leg pain and the deep tissue massage has been great.

I have been this place couple of times and I love it . Honestly they are very welcoming the place is nice and clean and the massage is awesome. I highly recommend 🫡

I have been getting massages a few times a month here for a year now. Have mostly had George do my massages- and I think he’s great. Yesterday George was on vacation so I tried Coco - my Chiropractor suggested I try her. She was amazing! Strong!!! Now I am going to be conflicted on which one to have for my next massage ! They had or maybe still have a massage place in Naperville, IL. The gal said they were so much busier there than Dubuque. So I thought I would write a review to help them out a little. I am all about helping small business’s succeed in Dbq ….and a big believer in massage therapy for maintaining one’s health. I hope you give them a try and have a positive experience!! Although I am a little spoiled - because of them not being busy …I can always get in right away. I am not great at planning massages in advance - so this works great for me. If you’re looking for a spa like atmosphere- this isn’t your place. It is clean but not “spa-ish”- just your bare bones massage table with clean linens and not overly huge towels. So if you’re really modest - or new to massage - just be aware. They are very respectful and keep the “parts” covered. George turns around when you flip. I was paranoid in the beginning- but now I feel comfortable going there. I put my phone on airplane mode and play downloaded spa music. They don’t always have music on- which is buggy to me. So I solved that issue with my phone. I also bring an eye mask- I don’t like the lights when I am on my back- so that’s my solution to that issue. You can also ask for a towel over your eyes. I know china massage places have a reputation for “extras”- but I have never witnessed that kind of thing going on there.

We were up in Galena for a few days and stopped to see Candy and Sue for 90 minute massages. We absolutely love coming to this salon and these 2 ladies always leave us feeling rested and refreshed. The place is clean and well run but the service and quality of massage from Candy and her coworker Sue is extraordinary. I would be a customer at China Star once a week if I lived up in Galena.
